Our Timeline

  • 2001

    King Electrical Services Pty Ltd Contracted to many different businesses including Jonson Electrical Services NSW and Capral Aluminium.

  • 2003

    2 Major Projects

    • A kiln Upgrade at Austral Bricks in Bowral
    • Capral Aluminium, Bundamba Queensland relocating 2 Extrusion Presses.

  • Timeline 2004

    2004

    King and Martin Electrical was formed to provide growth by joining forces with a competitor + 1st Year apprentice joins the team.

  • 2004

    Metal Extrusion Press commissioning in Abu Dhabi for KHK Scaffolding

  • 2005

    Employed our First Tradesman and the first Service Vehicle was on the road.

  • 2006

    G. James Extrusion, Glass & Commercial sectors completing Shift Maintenance and Project work across 4 sites.

  • 2007

    Purchase first factory unit in Ingleburn NSW with  5 tradesmen working across 24hrs 7 days.

  • 2008-2010

    Electrical Engineering is born and we become the primary contractor to Ullrich Aluminium installing the process line in October 2008/09 + we emply 3 apprentices to learn the Industrial industry.

  • 2009

    During the GFC we diversified the business breaking into the food and beverage industry and saw our growth double.

  • 2012

    Our staff grows to 25 tradesmen and 3 office staff

  • Timeline 2016

    2016

    Purchase of Hawkesbury Valley Electrics to allow us to better  service the commercial sector, including, Goodmans & Hanson Hymix completing plant updates to Pyrmont and Preston sites

  • 2017

    Johnson Electrical Services merge

    Timeline 2017
  • 2020

    Commencement of the build for new onsite training facility.

  • 2022 - Welcome to Mex Engineering Group.
